Welcome to the Southampton University Rock and Metal Society SUSU Page. Here at Rocksoc we aim to provide a friendly environment to make friends with like minded people. Whether you are a die hard rock and metal fan or simply curious about either genre, all are welcome! The group is for both current Uni students, ex-students and anyone else in the area who is a fan of rock and metal. For both informal and formal events keep an eye on this page and feel free to join in the discussion. These are the current membership fees offered by Rock and Metal Music Society, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.

Rocksoc is all about meeting like minded people and getting involved in alternative events in Southampton. We have weekly socials including Subculture nights, gigs, pub trips, jam sessions and much more. Rocksoc is a social society with the aim of making friends and enjoying music. We aim to be a friendly, welcoming community. All are welcome, whether you're a die hard metal fan or just curious about alternative music & culture and want to know more. Sign up this year to get involved in local alternative themed events. Once you are a member, you will receive weekly updates on our socials by email. We also have a monthly calendar with dates of all our socials and gigs we are planning to go to together. Feel free to join us whenever you like, whether that's every week or once in a while. There is no pressure to come to absolutely everything. Membership is open all year so if you are reading this midway through the year, come join! Hope to see you soon! |
