Football (Mens)
We are one of the largest and most competitive university football clubs in the country, offering 5 men's teams across a variety of leagues. Our first team competes in the BUCS Western 1A, just one tier below the national league, making us one of the strongest teams in the south. As a part of SUFC you will benefit from high-quality coaching from a highly respected Southampton FC coach. All teams train and play regularly making plenty of opportunity for minutes. For our top players there are plenty of links to semi-pro clubs providing a pathway beyond university football. Off the pitch, our club has a huge social side. From weekly nights out, team dinners and occasional themed socials being a part of SUFC is never boring! We have a strong family vibe and make sure everyone feels part of something bigger. Membership in our club is based on a successful three-day trial to assess footballing ability. Home Games Location: Wide Lane Sports Ground, SO50 5PE. Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by Football (Mens), although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.

| SUFC 25/26 | £130.00 | 26/09/2025 - 30/06/2026 | Your membership fee will cover the fundamentals of running and being a part of the club. This includes; A professional coach being employed for higher teams training sessions, the provision of kit and equipment (footballs, bibs, cones etc), covering the cost of referees for match days as well as travel to away matches (for BUCS teams). There will be additional costs for things such as personal kit/stash and socials. |
